November 30, 2009Joe’s Pub hosts Colman Domingo’s Big Ass 40th Birthday Party. The party begins at 9:30pm.
Domingo, who was last seen off-Broadway in his one-man show A Boy and His Soul, will be joined by an assortment of friends, including Anika Noni Rose, Jon Spurney, De’Adre Aziza, Ari Gold, Eisa Davis and more.
Prior to A Boy and His Soul, Domingo appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award-nominated Passing Strange, and can be seen in Spike Lee’s feature film of the stage show. Additional Broadway credits include Well. Regionally, he has appeared in Coming Home (Long Wharf Theatre), the world premiere of A Boy and His Soul (Thick House) and The People’s Temple (Berkeley Repertory Theatre). As a director, he has helmed the off-Broadway productions Exit Cuckoo and Single Black Female.
